4140 Flat Bar Stock

Capital Steel & Wire distributes cold drawn 4140 flat bar stock. 4140 steel provides a level of wear resistance and toughness that lower carbon grade steels do not offer. 4140 is ideal for a wide range of product applications, including bolts, axles, piston rods, hydraulic machinery and valves. 4140 CD alloy steel responds well to heat treatment and is moderately easy to machine.
